The Pharonic Race

Long before recorded history, wards of several gods travelled the realms of men and selected several to bear offspring as a vessel of power of the gods to lead the people. In time, however, wars between many of the chosen people and intermixing amongst the chosen led to a great racial war and eventually a single line of power emerged in the Pharonic race, traced to Amon-Vanu, after all the other Pharonic lines were destroyed.

Today, in the far eastern kindom of Keth, the bloodlines of Amon-Vanu run in the ruling caste, and wizards and conjurers of other races are not tolerated, although they may show respect to a visiting dignitary who possesses such powers. The most powerful of the bloodline rules as pharoah, a god incarnate on earth. Since pharoah actually is a vessel of power, he or she grants power to his clerics as a god would.

There are racial prestige classes only available to the pharonic race, which represent the strengthening pharonic power in a bloodline and all of which are closely tied to the power of pharoah.

• +2 Charisma, +2 Wisdom. Pharonic people are wise and charismatic.

• Base Speed of 30 feet
• Acid, Fire, and Electricity resistance 5
• Low Light Vision
• Automatic Languages: Common, Home Region. Bonus Languages: Any (except restricted languages, such as Druidic).
• Favored Class: Mentalist
