The Marask Race
At the end of the second great war, the race now known as the Marask isolated themselves from their human brethren. Over time, the Marask became distinct both physically and culturally from the other races, and were not known until the rise of the third great war, where the orcs invaded their land. Ardon came to their aid, and freed them from bondage. Since then the Marask have pledged their support of the Isle of Skye, and Marask guards protect the throne. Marask are lawful, and are known to always keep their word and protect their charge. Little is known of Marask culture, since it is still very isolated from the rest of the realm.Racial Abilities:
- +2 Wisdom, +2 Dexterity. The Marask are tight lipped, but known for their wisdom and speed.
- Medium Size
- Base Speed of 30 feet
- Immunity to charm and sleep spells.
- Low Light Vision
- Automatic Languages: Skye, Orcish. Bonus Languages: Any (except restricted languages, such as Druidic).
- Favored Class: Mentalist
