The Western untamed Lands...

The Western Lands are known to be chaotic and free, home to many nomadic tribes and few cities, this land is considered untamed. There are kingdoms sparely strewn throughout the many isles and mountains, but most have not survived the test of time to be remembered on the tounges of men and elves hardly take notice of them.

A few lands do have unique qualities that are worthy of mentioning, and they are recalled here...

Dublin lies to the north and is surrounded by sea. Legend holds that Dublin hosts several ancient fortresses called Storms, built long ago by the giants before men came to this region of the world. These ruins now house great settlements where the strongest of clan leaders, known as Storm Lords, rule surrounding lands. Prophecy holds that one day a great warrior will rise up to unite the Storms and bring order to these lands. To the north of Dublin reside many highland clans which have wandered from the neighboring Vosgaard, a vast northern barbaric territory which extends far to the north into the Arctic Wastes.

Shannon borders her northern neighbor Dublin and contains many provinces known as Shires. Once part of Dublin, it was conquered by Norian and Mishan troops and has built up a number of city-states using the might of the Norian Republic.

Far to the West, beyond the great Isles, lies the isle of Siptah, a cursed isle that is said to host a tower of pure white and the spirit of a fallen wizard, and any who venture onto the isle for lore or fortune have never returned.

The Central Kingdoms and the Holy Isle of Skye

The Republics founded by Skye represent the largest empire in the known world, and their empire is the route of all trade between the eastern and western lands. The silken road leads eastward to the Surian Nations, and the trade roads lead westward to the lands of Skye.

Zimora

Amazonia lies far to the south and is a Matriarchy most armies fear to face. Even the mighty Tolnedran army failed to tame these lands.

Bloodmark is an ancient city of higher learning that is guarded from the sea by immense coral reefs and from land by treatcherous terrain. From an ancient pact to Ardon in the second age, 200 Bloodmark serve the Holy Throne of the Isle of Skye in the western lands, and the bloodmark servants are known for fearless loyalty and unsurpassed skill. If a Bloodmark warrior dies in service to the throne, another servitor arrives in replacement before word is even known of the death.

Gillantry lies far south of the Western Kingdoms and has also become a mighty kingdom in its own name. Very little is known of Gillantrian magic, but legend of Gillantry licensing and taxation is worldwide.

The northern central kingdoms are nomadic and warlike, surviving on harsh tundra. These free lands are known primarily for their danger and opportunity. Many of the tribes that wander these lands were based on outcasts from Suria, lost clansmen from Vosgaard, and escaped slaves from Tolnedra. Many small kingdoms litter these lands. Notably Khitai is a nation of skilled archersand some of the best cavalry in the land. Also, lost deep in the northern tundra is rumored to exist the lost city of Moril, ancient seat of the tribes of Mor.

The Isle of Skye is the emporers seat over all the western kingdoms and is the mark of all that is good and holy in the land. Unfortunately due to the influence of the mighty eastern Kingdom of Tolnedra, the Isle of Skye holds little political power over many of the Western Kingdoms.

Guildar is the center of shipbuilding for the western empire and is closely aligned with Tolnedra, the merchant capital of the east.

The Eastern Kingdoms... Lands of Silk and Oil...

Far to the North lies Assai, a kingdom from whence the dread name assassin comes from. An ancient kingdom based on the power of warlords, Assai is secretive yet is rumored to influence every throne.

Suria is a rich kingdom known for its silk and oil. Suria Shieks run each provence, and the Surian King directs foreign matters. The capital of Suria, Suril, is the oldest known surviving city, dating back to the First age.

The Old Lands... Lands of Elves and the Deceiver

Far to the East and South across the waters beyond the Eastern Kingdoms lies the ancient lands. Now rumored to be vast ruins of forgotten cultures, and inhabited by true elves in their immense tree cities, these lands are inhospitable and completely uncharted. Ancient texts do speak of a prophecy of the shadow of Xotli, called the Deceiver, lives somewhere in these lands and slowly seeks to destroy the pantheon and end creation.

The Shadow Lands... Moonglow, Amoril, and Avalon

Moonglow is rumored to be a cursed land that appears only during certain phases of the two moons, and within this city knowledge of powerful magics and ancient civilizations can be found.

Avalon lies deep within the mists and shadows and is said to have been created by Bel as a holy place where ancient druids oversee the balance of the lands and the safety of all people.

Amoril is a hidden kingdom said to be home to the dervishes of Mor. Although many explorers have sought Amoril, the true secret of Amorils resting place is known only to the silent followers of Mor.
